Mainly open gates, no cows interfering with progress and recently cut grass made for big improvements in time. Many thanks to Rob P for getting these results collated. Dawn held off the ever improving Paul J to finish 1st. David B and Mel had a good battle on the second lap. From there on is was a tight finish.

June Handicap Start Times

Understandably, there are a number of people still not really comfortable with group runs and activities. As such, it is proposed that June can either be done individually or on the Tuesday. The window for individual efforts to open on Friday 28th May, and close on Tuesday 1st June at dusk.
The ‘official’ handicap race to take place on Tuesday 1st June.

Winter Handicap February 2021

Last man out won it! Rob cruised through in the last of the daylight with an immense virtual gap between him and the rest. Probably his best result in a handicap ever.

Sunday 31st January. Rain/sleet stopped midday 30th and freezing overnight so mixed opinions as to whether the ground was firmer today. Certainly a biting easterly wind didn’t make it more pleasant! Pretty close finish times despite the varied conditions over the 3 days.

Monday 1st February.  A nicer day and a very fast time by new member Rachael E. Remarkable dead heat for second place with another new member, Rhodri. As is often the case with new members, initial improvements make accurate handicaps difficult for a while. Some adjustments to the start list are required.
