There was a big turnout of 19 Harriers at the Abergele 5k Sunday 14 November, and a huge haul of medals on what was a flat out and back course with a very gentle breeze for the return run. There were five North Wales 5K champions in the club: Daniel Jones, Emma Collins, Vic Belshaw, Sara Leverett and Menai Baugh. There were also numerous PB’s had by those who took part, with the results as follow:

Eleanor Ashcroft also had a podium finish as 3rd Overall Female at the Anglesey Trail Half Marathon on Sunday. This race was set in the beautiful winding woodland trails of Newborough Forest, with glimpses in of the Llyn Peninsula and Ynys Llanddwyn among the views. Eleanor had a strong run finishing in 01:41:33 on this undulating course. Harrier Iwan Evans also ran and had a brilliant race finishing 14th overall in 01:36:16. Great running from both!!
