A warm evening for the May handicap, with 20 people attending on the night, and 3 ‘virtual’ racers.
A number of people complained about the headwind on the infamous uphill part of the course, but dry conditions underfoot, along with some nice short grass, led to a number of fast times.
Helen Davies continues to beat the handicapper, and now has a miserly 6 points from 3 races. We will see if she can continue with her remarkable run of form …

A special mention should go to Tony Wood, who ran 100km two days before the handicap race, and yet managed to do the race 30 seconds faster than in April
